Getting Relief for Our Clients

Our bankruptcy practice at Rausch Law, LLC represents clients in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 filings. Our clients rely on Rausch Law to handle their proceedings efficiently and with complete discretion. Our lawyers use their many years of experience to achieve our client’s goals.

Educating the client is one of the biggest elements to successfully handling bankruptcy proceedings. We may need to educate the client on many things, including: the options available, the length of the process, and the exemptions that he or she may claim. Rausch Law prides itself on listening and developing a plan of action that best suits the client’s needs.

Chapter 7

This type of personal bankruptcy, sometimes known as a liquidation bankruptcy, involves the client’s debt being discharged. Not everyone is eligible for this type of relief. Our attorneys can determine whether a debtor is eligible to file for Chapter 7 relief.

Chapter 13

Sometimes called reorganization bankruptcy, if you do not qualify for a Chapter 7 you may be eligible for Chapter 13. This type of relief reorganizes debt so that the individual can repay some or all of their debt over five years. After the bankruptcy period is over, the remaining debt is discharged.
